Terms of service

The rules for using LuaFlux, the obfuscator.

Last updated October 24, 2026

Agreement

These terms govern your use of LuaFlux, including the obfuscator at luaflux.lol and its API. By using the service you confirm that you have read these terms and agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use LuaFlux.

You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live, or have the permission of a parent or guardian.

In short: use LuaFlux for scripts you are allowed to protect, do not abuse it, and understand that no obfuscator makes code impossible to reverse.

The service

LuaFlux transforms Lua and Luau source code into a harder to read version that still runs the same way. You choose a mode, submit a script and receive the output.

Features, modes, limits and performance can change over time. We may add, adjust or remove parts of the service to keep it reliable and to prevent abuse.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use LuaFlux to:

  • hide malware, stealers, loggers, ransomware or any code meant to harm people or devices
  • break the law, or infringe the rights of others, including scripts you do not own or have no right to protect
  • attack, overload or reverse engineer the service, or bypass rate limits and the human check
  • resell or redistribute access to the service without our permission
  • automate requests in a way that degrades the service for other users

We may refuse a build, block an address or end access when we believe these rules were broken, with or without notice.

Your scripts and output

You keep every right you already have in the scripts you submit and in the output you receive. LuaFlux claims no ownership over them.

You give us only the permission needed to process your script and return the result. Scripts are processed and discarded once the output is returned, as described in the privacy policy.

You are responsible for the content of your scripts and for testing the output in the environment you plan to ship to. Always keep your original source, since we cannot recover it for you.

Disclaimers

Obfuscation is a deterrent, not a guarantee. A determined person with enough time can eventually analyze any code that has to run on their machine.

LuaFlux is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error free, that every script will build, or that output will behave identically in every runtime or after every platform update.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, LuaFlux and the people behind it are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, leaked code or loss of access, arising from your use of the service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the minimum required by law. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

Termination

You can stop using LuaFlux at any time. We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms, abuse the service or put it at risk. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as disclaimers and liability, continue after access ends.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version, and continued use after a change means you accept it. For material changes we will try to announce them on Discord.

Questions about these terms can be asked on our Discord server. The terms are governed by the laws of the country where the operator of LuaFlux is established, without regard to conflict of law rules, and without removing any mandatory consumer protection that applies to you.
